Com suas raízes no Brasil e na Inglaterra, ElPeche traz um som que mistura influências fortes do eletrônico bass inglês regado a batidas brasileiras e latinas numa espécie de Low Techno Tropical.

Residente da Sonido Trópico há dois anos, ElPeche tem um foco em ritmos latinos acompanhados de basslines fortes e pesados.

O EP Calorzito, surgiu como um estudo dessa mescla, sempre levando em conta a pista de dança. Calorzito, a primeira track do EP, traz bem a infusão latina estruturada numa base bastante eletrônica e grave.

Gossa surgiu da ideia de usar um sample que tivesse uma natureza mais oriental aplicado num contexto latino, uma viagem intercontinental de som. Pablito, por fim, surgiu como uma brincadeira com a série Narcos e o personagem interpretado por Wagner Moura de Pablo Escobar.

Como seu primeiro EP solo, Calorzito reflete bem o ânimo e a energia das pistas, coisa que para ElPeche é um dos fatores mais importantes na cena musical underground latino-americana.

English:

Rooted internationally between Brazil and the UK, ElPeche presents sounds with influences from UK bass to brazilian and latin beats resulting something which could be described as Low Tropical Techno. Resident at Sonido Tropico (São Paulo) for the last two years, he focuses on brazilian and latin rhythms accompanied by strong and sometimes dirty basslines.

The Calorzito EP came to life as a study of this mixture, always taking in to account the dance floor. Calorzito, the first track, carries well that latin infusion and is structured in a very bass rich electronic way.

Gossa was created from the idea of using a more oriental as eastern sample and putting it into the latin context, taking you into an intercontinental sound trip. Last but not least, Pablito came together as ElPeche played around with the voice of Wagner Moura in the character of Pablo Escobar in Narcos.

As a first solo EP, Calorzito reflects very well one of the main focuses of ElPeche in the past two years of his career: the importance of the dance floor in the latin underground music scene!

Excellent mini album! It's hard to choose a favourite track - all five are superb. Sounding very different with various cultural influences: For example they use French spoken samples on "Indian Summer". All five songs are now in my dj-song-pool .... Kristian Kosmik
